Since setting up Google Analytic i have learned a lot about the program. Analytics gives multiple different types of information to the webpage admin. First of all it shows how many people have visited your webpage, and from what country. It also tells you how long the average visit from each country/state is. For example i have nineteen visitors from Vermont with an average time of 4 mins spend on my website. I also have visitors from Florida and Cali, with around 45 seconds of page usage. Another interesting application is the Traffic Source map. It shows whether people searched from your website, entered the URL, or were referred from another site. Around 70% of the people that viewed my web page were referred from other sites. I thought that the graph showing the dates that people viewed your website interesting because it shows the admin what days of the week people are viewing your site which could correlate with what days the admin posts. For example the days of the week that people view my websites are mainly the days that i have Digital- Media class.
